El Dante

El Dante

Sculptural group by Adelfo Galli

An original work of art by the Ferrara sculptor, Adelfo Galli, welcomes all guests of Camplus Firenze. Made of terracotta, it consists of a high relief over three meters high and a life-size statue. This sculptural group was also donated to His Holiness Pope Francis and exhibited in the Vatican Museums.

The beauty of the new Camplus Firenze residence, the result of thirty years of experience in the student housing sector, is combined with the beauty of the work of art that embellishes it inside, generating that amazement that we have always wanted to provoke in the experience of each student.

THE SCULPTURAL WORK

THE SCULPTURAL WORK

The sculptural work is inspired by the XXX Canto of the Divine Comedy in its most emblematic moment: the meeting between Dante and Beatrice. An intimate and unconventional representation according to the artist's vision, born from a passionate dialogue with his friend and essayist, Franco Nembrini. Their unpublished interventions are included in the little book created to celebrate the birth of the new Camplus Firenze and the statue of El Dante.
